Oral Hygiene

In recent studies it has been proven that there is a strong relationship between gum disease and other major health issues. Such as strokes, heart disease, diabetes, bacterial lung infections and more. Therefore, we put such large concern on oral maintenance and routine hygiene services, keeping your gums clean & healthy.

Our hygienist is particularly popular with our professional patients that desire that freshness in their breath and ultra-clean sensation in their mouth.

With our membership plans, you will have regular visits with the dentist and hygienist. Keeping your mouth in check and your body healthy. This is why we encourage all our patients to join.

We have noticed that patients who have joined a plan tend to require less invasive and costly treatments. You will also benefit from lower likelihood of an emergency appointment.

Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment is required when the nerve in your tooth has become irreversibly inflamed causing the tooth’s nerve to die and become infected. This can be caused by tooth decay or an injury to the mouth.

If left untreated, the infection could spread through the root canal system and could eventually lead to an abscess causing immense discomfort. If root canal treatment is not carried out, the tooth may need to be removed.

The procedure involves the dentist removing the remaining nerve and infection, by drilling into your tooth for access to the root. It is then cleaned, disinfected, and filled. Sealed with a temporary crown.
The tooth is then checked in a later visit. When all the infection has cleared the tooth is filled permanently.

Root canal treatment is a skilled and time-consuming procedure, which is normally carried out over two or more visits.

White Fillings

It is quite common for people to have fillings of one sort or another. And because we are so conscious of our smiles, we offer a more natural alternative tooth coloured filling.

The main advantage of composite fillings is their natural look, making you more comfortable with your smile.
These can be used to repair damaged teeth such as chips or teeth after decay has been removed and to improve the appearance of your smile. They can also be used to build up a tooth when there is little tooth structure left.

We can replace your old metal fillings with these new natural fillings.

Bridges,
Crowns
&
Dentures

Dental Crowns can be used to restore teeth that are heavily filled, discoloured, broken or crooked. You can improve your smile with an aesthetically pleasing and natural look with dental crowns. Crowns are essentially a tooth-coloured cap placed over the remaining tooth. Crowns are also available in precious metals such a silver or gold.

If you need a more extensive restoration than a crown or have multiple teeth that need repaired, a bridge would be a good solution. A dental bridge is a non removeable way of replacing a small number of missing teeth. It involves preparing the teeth next to the gap and cementing onto these a unit of false teeth. Some bridges can be fixed to your jaw with dental implants.

Dentures are a removable form of false teeth. These could give you a comfortable, strong, and long-term way of restoring your ability to eat and talk. And at the same time giving you a natural beautiful smile to show off. Dentures can be used to replace all your teeth or only as few as required.

You can probably remember your grandparents’ false teeth, often looking unattractive and uncomfortable. But today’s modern dentures look much more natural and fit very comfortably. It can be difficult to even tell whether someone is wearing dentures or not!

It is important to replace missing teeth, even if just one is missing. This can have an impact on your eating and speaking abilities. As additional strain is put on your teeth on either side, your bite could become misaligned.
